Fire damages local home, SERVPRO of Wichita Falls restores it

Fire, water and soot damages every room.

When this homeowners heater malfunctioned, it caused a fire to break out in the heater closet, up into the attic, and throughout the hall. 

Needless to say, soot was found throughout the home, and the water damage from fire fighting efforts caused sections of ceilings to fall.

Thankfully, their agent recommended SERVPRO of Wichita Falls.

Our teams of highly trained professionals arrived onsite and immediately began removing ceiling debris while another team explained the SERVPRO restoration process.

As cleaning progressed we worked with the homeowners to sort what could be restored from what was clearly too damaged to keep.

Our teams were busy photographing each item from both piles, documenting their status and then packing out the property for cleaning and restoration.

As each room was cleared of furniture and other belongings, our crews removed flooring and sheetrock and prepared the room for the cleaning crews.

Finally, with the house itself cleaned and the restoration work in the planning stage, we were able to dedicate our resources to restoring all the  personal items that had been removed.

Once all items had been cleaned, deodorized, ozoned and packed into clean boxes, we were ready to deliver the property back to the homeowners.

The feeling we get when we can restore and return  property? It's the best feeling in the world.
